a week in MAUI

What an amazing transformational week in beautiful MAUI!! From going swimming with dolphins and sea turtles, snuba diving in the deep blue, to running on the beach, swimming in the ocean, hanging with my amazing mentor Dr Jacob Liberman and his beautiful wife Terry, taking in the breeze, feeling the ocean air take away all of my worries, hiking to breath taking waterfalls eating at the Mana Health food store, to having romantic walks on the beach…… just taking in every moment…. at the deepest level I am so grateful for all of the love, and beauty in each moment, and the deepest gratitude for life… aloha….

36 brothers and sisters

I just ran across a box of old pictures of all the foster kids my family took care of growing up.
I had around 36 brothers and sisters from all ages and backgrounds. Although many or most of them came from abusive, neglectful and heart wrenching family situations…. they all came with love, lessons and amazing spirits. I am so happy that my mom and dad opened our house to so many amazing brothers and sisters… I felt I learned so much about sharing, caring, compassion and connection. I learned how grateful I was for some of the simplest blessings… like having food, caring parents, and opportunity.
Recently a couple of foster brothers ( Kyle and Jacob) found my family through FB and reached out. It was such an amazing surprise and reconnection ….we were all so moved to hear from them after all these years. They came back to tell my mom how she had changed their lives…. she was deeply touched…..And so was I.
You never know the power of caring and sharing… how one life can affect another.
